Sustainable products for the people.
My name is Levente Scott and as part of my business studies at Rolleston College, I started Upcycled Plastics. Only 12 percent of New Zealand's plastic gets recycled; the rest ends up in landfills and waterways. To help combat this fast approaching environmental issue, I spent two years building a production line from scratch to transform used plastic waste into valuable, versatile, and fully sustainable sheets. From which I can make a range of products to extend the short life cycle of plastic.

If you're looking to make a change in your day-to-day life, one of the best things you can do is find the nearest soft plastics recycling bin. This can be used for the disposal of single-use plastics such as Glad wrap and plastic bags. By doing this, you help take these plastics out of our landfills, helping to recycle and reuse our waste for good.
